Hi, OK guys, you know the drill now. Try to start amaya_wx and then: "The program 'amaya_wx' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'. (Details: serial 559 error_code 8 request_code 146 minor_code 3) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)" It's on Fedora 6 and showed up after an upgrade from Fedora 4. I was running Amaya_wx 9.52, leaping to 9.53 changed nothing and http://wam.inrialpes.fr/ does not answer, so I have no clues about 9.54. If you need more details, please let me know. I read the thread Regis points to in a recent message today. Looks pretty messy. Good luck Regis and to all of us. Cheers, Serge Torres Ecole normale superieure de Lyon
