this is a query not about Amaya specifically but about html spec in general. i know a there are many who are tuned into the w3.org specs here. Is there a specified browser reaction for a link with a null URL. for example : <a href="">Blank URL on link</a> this one fouled up my db to html generator because MSIE engined browsers display the current directory while mozilla/opera based ones did the anticipated redisplay of current page ...... i have a workaround -- make sure blank url replaced by "?" but was just wondering if there was any standard out there... designers struggle when there are many vague spots in standards that let implementers off the hook ... john in niagara canada -- -- John Russell, VE3LL@COGECO.CA http://home.cogeco.ca/~ve3ll http://home.cogeco.ca/~trains http://home.cogeco.ca/~cipher
