Re: span element in XHTML menu

I know that span elements are automatically generated/removed, but it is 
not possible to create a span element without attributes, like this:
<p>This is a <span>span</span> element</p>

It can be done editing the source code, of course, but a new option in 
the XHTML menu would solve this limitation.
