Hi,
Sorry if this bug has already been reported.
Here is the manipulation sequence:
- create a new
(juste typing the "Enter" key, while in a some
element);
- type in some text (just a few keystrokes);
- select the
element (Esc or F2);
- click any of the H1, H2, H3 buttons and then:
- the content of the
element is erased,
- the current (and empty) element under the cursor is a new hx
element (e.g. h2).
The same thing happens if I use the menu instead of the buttons and even
if I try to transform the
into some other element (such as

or
).
But sometimes, it does happen at all! I could not figure any regular
pattern of action to avoid it consistently. Having another element
*after* the element your are modifying *sometimes* helps, but not always!
Once the element has been transformed, it's here to stay. I can play
around with it at will. For instance, it's content will not be erased by
a
->
-> <whatever> sequence.
I use a 9.4 release for Debian on a (of course) Debian Linux machine.
I hope this helps.
Best regards,
Serge Torres
PS : thanks for bringing Amaya to us and improving it such a long way
since these very very experimental releases in the good ole' days.
