i am seeing the same problem after switching pages from html4 to xhtml1.0 using 8.7.3 and win98 More on the same problem. See: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/en- us/xmlsdk/html/dom_hdi_vb_dynamdomfrm. asp? frame=true (this is part of the URL) In the <pre> block, after "End Function" the remaining lines (#141 thru #232 in source view) are rendered as a single long line. THe source view shows many lines, and correctly numbered. CAUTION: This might not be true HTML but a dialect spoken near Redmond Anyway, <pre> is <pre> and it has not many variations.
