Thanks for ignoring my bug report. From the helpful link you provided: "An installer is the first experience of a user with your application. Slow or unsuccesful software installations are the most irritating computer problems. A quick and user friendly installer is therefore an essential part of your software product." http://nsis.sourceforge.net/ The bug in your implementation of the Windows install program for Amaya 9.0pre remains. You might examine the options NSIS undoubtedly allows for OS detection, or you might look at InstallShield or the open sourced MS install program. My computer remains unusable, thanks to a sloppy Amaya installation script.
