validating with amaya

Amaya does not catch every html4 error.  For example the recommendation
states there must be an option element in a select list [the constraint is
a bad one but it is in the rec]   Amaya does not flag it ...

I suspect you are leaving html validation to other utilities, while still 
making sure XHTML IS well structured (dont know if full validation is
 in yet)  ....

What Amaya does well is catch bad CSS even in style attributes...
i sometimes forget units which most browsers tolerate and some
checkers miss ... but amaya reminds me always ;-] ;-] ;-]
