Hi,

We discovered yesterday that the gcc compiler of our Redhat 8 box
doesn't generate a valid code (almost with current compiling options).
The result is a lot of crashes (Enter in the dialogue, in annotations, etc., etc.)
with following distributions:
    amaya_gtk-8.1a-1.i386.rpm,
    amaya_gl-8.1a-1.i386.rpm,
    amaya-gtk8-8.1a.tgz,
    amaya-gl8-8.1a.tgz

We're looking for a solution (a new version of the compiler or other compiling
options) and we'll republish these packages as soon as possible.
     Irene.
