Installation problem (linux-ELF)

Hi!

I've got a problem getting amaya 1.0a run on my linux box.
Here is what happened:

1) I first installed amaya-LINUX-ELF-1.0a.tar.gz in /usr/local/Thot.
   I added /usr/local/Thot/LINUX-ELF/bin/ to my PATH-variable and tried
   to start amaya

        /usr/local/Thot> amaya
        Tcl plugin: can not find Tcl plugin libraries
        Tcl plugin: can not find Tcl plugin libraries
        amaya: can't resolve symbol '__eprintf'
        amaya: can't resolve symbol '__eprintf'
        Segmentation fault

2) Then I cleaned up /usr/local/Thot and installed
   amaya-java-LINUX-ELF-1.0a.tar.gz:

         /usr/local/Thot> amaya
         amaya: can't resolve symbol 'mallopt'

   Here is the ldd output:

        /usr/local/Thot_mit_java > ldd LINUX-ELF/bin/amaya
        libXt.so.6 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libXt.so.6.0
        libSM.so.6 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libSM.so.6.0
        libICE.so.6 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libICE.so.6.0
        libXext.so.6 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libXext.so.6.1
        libX11.so.6 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libX11.so.6.1
        libm.so.5 => /lib/libm.so.5.0.5
        libc.so.5 => /lib/libc.so.5.2.18

Does anybody have a glue?

Thanks and regards

Carl
