Linux A.out Alpha0.8 startup problem

Hi,

I got the same problems with the alpha0.8 version of Amaya for Linux
as erlenkoetter_ansgar@tandem.com described in his mail from 
Fri, 30 Aug 1996.

I get 

Undefined C library functions:
1. light C shared image (Use the real one instead.)

when starting amayamain.
I got this problem with the original libc.so.4.7.2 from sunsite's GCC directory.
This library shouldn't be a 'light' one.

any suggestions?
