This is the test file I was using ihe call today. Table 1 is a plain old table. IE sees a table object with children of data items Table 2 has role=presenation on the table element only. The table object is not in the UIA tree. The tds are still there as data items. (I consider this a bug) Table 3 has role=presneation on the table element and td elements. The td elements are text objects, not groups. The text I gave originally describes this behavior. Does everyone think they should be groups instead? I don't have a strong opinion here, but wouldn't expect a change for Windows 10 finally, there is a plain paragraph with the same text. I think there are smaller pauses when this is read by narrator, but I'm not sure. I would need to play with it with different text to be sure, as this text has commas.
