states/properties for certain roles and UAIG's error handling
of those roles/states/properties -- open

JS: discussed at Mon meeting.
... discussion switched to should browsers do anything to fix
author errors.
DB: well, browsers have to do something.
JS: end result : remove the detaults table.
DB: remove the defaults table is okay, but keep it in some
incubator
... notes that author could also supply aria-checked='false'
when it is checkd.
... email James for his opinion.
... I may be able to attend the f2f next Wed for an hour.

Expose listbox of combobox as menu?
ACTION-1183?
<trackbot> ACTION-1183 -- Joseph Scheuhammer to check UAIG for

DB: for this "owns" case, accprobe sees a listbox.
JS: accerciser is reporting a list with listitems — a list box.
DB: what if the listbox is a child and not just owned?
JS: if it is a direct child, accerciser is showing a menu.
... so, it looks like FF does different things if the listbox
is owned vs. an actual child.
... on linux.
DB: checking on windows.
rrsagent: make minutes
DB: it's a listbox.
... I think it's only linux. Remove it from the far left.
JS: Okay with me.
resolved: remove "If child of or owned by a

menu" from role listbox roles table, leftmost column.

<davidb> I seem to recall this is a linux only special case.
