Re: toolbar keyboard navigation

aloha, joseph!

i'd prefer a generic rule that HOME and END always go to the first
and last item in the field/area/landmark/checkboxes/controlgroup/whatever
which has focus

using "standard" keys with web-based forms with an application such as a
screenreader, is currently a tricky proposition; when i try to go to the
top of the TEXTAREA in which i'm typing this emessage using the HOME
key, 4 out of 5 times focus jumps out of the TEXTAREA and moves to the
first item on the page (whether i'm in "forms mode" or not, whether i use
JAWS or NVDA) -- i don't know if this is a windows 7 problem, a
FireFox problem or a screen reader problem or some combination of
the above... gregory.
