Hi,

does anybody know if the new Jaws 11 Control Description feature in Verbosity Preferences will have any effect on the readout of aria-describedBy or any other role-related ARIA attribute in IE8?

I've read in a thread http://www.freelists.org/post/program-l/UIA-in-jaws-11-public-beta,22 that it will affect MSAA readout of GetObjectDescription http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/a2109sx2%28VS.80%29.aspx ("This function returns the AccDescription property of the container of an MSAA Object ..etc. ").

Or does that apply/have effect with Jaws 11 only for "pure" ATL windows programming that references/uses MSAA?
