+1 to that. I would expect always from elaborated web software 
to offer an option for its key configuration.

At the very least, the shortcut key should be configurable and not
hard-wired into the browser. I could easily imagine that in the future
CTRL+ALT+TAB could be allocated to switch between DHTML windows, for
example.

I think we are falling into the trap again of trying to provide shortcut
keys. Let's leave this to AT. You will never find a shortcut that makes
everyone happy; there will naturally arise a conflict between various
keystrokes.
