You have recently begun to take initiative in this area. That’s great.
Keep up the good work.

What we are not doing is reaching mutually agreeable solutions with
WAI that fulfill the charter’s accessibility mandate. We need to
figure out how to do that efficiently. The procedure document is an
attempt.

I am not a member of WAI. I can not speak for them. WAI's mission

I know you are backlogged, Ian. I assume PF is too because other
requests have taken a while for them to respond [1].

For example, we are currently waiting for a  response to  a September
23, 2008 request for PFWG WAI to review multimedia accessibility
requirements  of <audio> <video>. So it may take some time.
