Hi Jon, Thanks for your explanation. It seems though that this may confuse users who expect tablist to run across. When you move forward with a TAB key and hear the screen reader say "tab", the impression is that you just landed on another tablist. Does this make sens? So when you hide a tab panel you basically cannot navigate to the controls and content in that tab panel. This type of interaction is sometimes called an Accordian widget.
