Do we mean the thumb? The thumb is the part of the slider that the mouse 
user moves.

Slider and Spinners were discussed and the following keys were 
recommended.  Also Date Picker and Rich Text Editors were discussed with 
no recommendations at this time.  Next week will continue the discussion 
of the Rich Text Editor.  Updates are located at:

Slider
Right and Up Arrows increase the value of the slider. 
Left and Down Arrows decrease the value of the slider. 
Home and End move to the minimum and maximum values of the slider. 
Tab into and out of the slider. 
Page Up and Page Down optionally increment or decrement the slider by a 
given amount.

Note: Localization for right to left languages may wish to reverse the 
left and right arrows. 
Spinner
Right and Up Arrows increase the value. 
Left and Down Arrows decrease the value. 
Home and End key move to the maximum or minimum values 
Optional Page Up and Page Down incrementally increase or decrease the 
value 
Tab key moves into and out of the widget 
Focus should remain on the edit field
