[faq] why do so many widgets have no @valuenow set?

the @valuenow attribute is used to hold a number for
widgets such as sliders where the value of the widget
is only displayed by an analog graphic.

Where the state of the widget is directly visible in
child content, that is all that is needed and that
is where the API binding gets the value for the
accessible objects.

Q: is that the way to answer this?

Q: do you agree this is a FAQ?
