I just wanted to provide some feedback as to what using most websites is like for a visually impaired person at the moment. It's terrible. There are very few websites now that you visit where there arent things popping out all over the place. Cooke notifications, mailing list notifications, ads that make the layout of sites swtich. Its difficult enough enayway and i'm sure that there are lot like me that make use of the zoom features inside web browsers. Zoom and pop up notification on websites do nto work well together at all, especially when there are modal notifciations that require user input before bbeing able to use the site when you are zoomed in to a part of the websites and it greys out so you have to unzoom,, locate the notification to clear it then dontinue. All in all, web browsing has now become extremely frustrating. I don't know if this is addressed in the WAI but even if it is, it doesnt seem to be adopted.
