Question on Email Accessibility

Good Day,

I've been tasked to investigate if Emails are part of the WCAG 2.0 Level AA.
Questions:

  *   Is Email considered part of the WCAG 2.0 Level AA? If Not, what are the guidelines that we need to follow to make the Emails meet the WCAG 2.0 Level AA.
  *   Can you refer me to a section on your website that speaks to the email accessibility? And what are the guidelines for the Email specifically? And how to become compliant.
