Re: WCAG 2.0 principles

Dear Christie,

WAI's Before-After Demo (BAD) provides examples of accessibility barriers and fixes. The current draft is based on WCAG 1.0; however most of the issues are similar with WCAG 2.0. It is available from
	<http://www.w3.org/WAI/EO/2005/Demo/>
(We are currently re-working the interface to this demo, as well as updating it for WCAG 2.0.)

The WCAG 2.0 documents have examples throughout, specifically in the Understanding WCAG 2.0 <http://www.w3.org/TR/UNDERSTANDING-WCAG20/> and the Techniques for WCAG 2.0 <http://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG20-TECHS/>
(For a list of things not to do, see "Failures for WCAG 2.0" listed at http://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG20-TECHS/failures.html )

We also have presentation materials that you are welcome to use. See the "About WCAG 2.0" presentation available from
	<http://www.w3.org/WAI/presentations/WCAG20_about/>
We are currently updating the presentation material and welcome your suggestions to make it more useful.

Additionally, you are welcome to ask the community for input through the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) Interest Group (IG) mailing list. You can search the mailing list archives, to see if this topic has been addressed recently, through:
	http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/w3c-wai-ig/
You can join the mailing list and post questions by following the instructions under:
	http://www.w3.org/WAI/IG/Overview.html#Uselist

And finally a request: Please point people to the WCAG Overview as the starting page (instead of pointing to the technical document itself): http://www.w3.org/WAI/intro/wcag

Best Regards,
~Shawn
