Hi, Shadi, New & leftover comments below. (I didn't check if they're already in changelog) > #1 Barriers Page: > Ref: <http://www.w3.org/WAI/EO/2005/Demo/features> > * How does the title of the document work? NEW: Other ideas:: * Accessibility Barriers in the [Before and After Demo | BAD Demo] * Accessibility Barriers List for the [Before and After Demo | BAD Demo] * Accessibility Barriers Shown in the [Before and After Demo | BAD Demo] * Accessibility Barriers Demonstrated in the [Before and After Demo | BAD Demo] These all frontload the title - a big plus! Also then links & title can match. :-) > Templates explanation? No. Too wordy. Cut down to 2 sentences. :-) Prolly don't need no need to say "The pages of the BAD Demo are listed in the sections below." no need to repeat from previous section. "They demonstrate a variety of accessibility barriers" No need to say "are common practice for generating Web pages (for example in content management systems" > * How do the "different format" icons work? This is a site-wide convention, for better or worse. Don't want to open up discussion of changing the icon. Know that it needs to be, but not top priority. Can discuss leaving them off all together -- that is, leave in left nav, but not in page. although, not sure if EOWG topic... > not happy with the "different format" icons that are now all over the place (they would actually also need to be in the left navigation bar). How do the icons work for you? I think OK to have only in left nav, and not all over page - here & in the barriers list page. NEW: I'm don't have strong feeling either way -- I totally support Editor's preference, whichever it is. :-) When you get a chance, could you add on this & the barriers page: [right after the page contents div end]

Sidebar

icon indicates links to a demo page without WAI site navigation.

[right before the first
] NEW: You could also put this in a more prominent position, e.g., under the contents box, or within the regular content text. > #2 Overview Page > Ref: <http://www.w3.org/WAI/EO/2005/Demo/Overview> > * How does the title of the document work? NEW: other ideas (spurred on by Williams' comments in EOWG): * Before and After Demonstration Introduction * Before and After Demonstration Description ... hum, not coming up with what I wanted: something that says "this pages tells you how to use the BAD Demo" > * How does the "Demonstration Contents" section work? agree to get rid of separate site files list "Demonstrated Barriers - Overview of the demonstrated accessibility barriers" > something like "Accessibility Barriers - Lists the main accessibility barriers on each page of the inaccessible site" "Accessible Web Site - Sample pages that address accessibility barriers" > something like "Accessible Web Site - Sample pages with accessibility barriers fixed " "Evaluation Report" > good for link text to match H1 of target. How about > "Web Accessibility Evaluation Report for Citylights" "Sample audit report for the inaccessible Web site" - I'd take out "audit" Cheers, ~ Shawn
