Hello Eds, In http://www.w3.org/WAI/managing.html The text "Note on Inaccessible [the letters 'captcha' difficult to read on complex background] and" needs a link title for FireFox etc - suggest title="inaccessible captcha" I would actually just use Alt="captcha" rather than Alt="the letters 'captcha' difficult to read on complex background" as this is a description of the image, rather than the text of the image. Most screen reader users will no longer understand the link if they are reading the alt text. Cheers, Andrew _________________________________ Dr Andrew Arch Manager Online Accessibility Consulting Accessible Information Solutions, NILS Ph +61 (0)3 9864 9282; Fax +61 (0)3 9864 9370; Mobile 0438 755 565 http://www.accessibleinfo.org.au/ | http://www.ozewai.org/2005/ Member, Education & Outreach Working Group, W3C Web Accessibility Initiative http://www.w3.org/WAI/EO/ National Information & Library Service Vision Australia __________________________________________________________________ << ella for Spam Control >> has removed Spam messages and set aside Later for me You can use it too - and it's FREE! http://www.ellaforspam.com
