refinery utilization rates, "Lel Bruce Peto" reports are still on the low 
end and the amount of backwardation between the recently expired November 
screen and December leaves a lot of upward space for December, analysts 
point out. The December no lead contract settled .99cts higher to 76.45cts 
gal, while January was down .04cts to 73.02cts gal.
   Even sustained cold weather throughout the northeast and strength in the 
gasoline ring was not enough to help bring heating oil out of negative
