Looks ok to me except that zoom is not a very good example since the user agent can typically handle this if the platform can't.. A better one might be if the platform lacks an accessibility API. A monochrome screen would qualify as well, but feels like a very dated. -Jan (MR) JAN RICHARDS PROJECT MANAGER INCLUSIVE DESIGN RESEARCH CENTRE (IDRC) OCAD UNIVERSITY T 416 977 6000 x3957 F 416 977 9844 E jrichards@ocadu.ca > -----Original Message----- > From: Jeanne Spellman [mailto:jeanne@w3.org] > Sent: April-12-13 2:21 PM > To: User Agent Working Group > Subject: Proposal for conformance limitations > > Kim and I were working on the conformance edits when we saw an opportunity to > solve one of our outstanding issues with partial > conformance: The situation when a user agent cannot meet a success criterion > because of limitations of the platform. > > We recommend reading this in context with the rest of the edits we made, because > it parallels the edited Included/Excluding Technologies section. > > http://www.w3.org/WAI/UA/2013/ED-UAAG20-20130411/#conformance-req- > components > > The major changes are highlighted.
