Re: Exploring Possibilities for Face to Face

I am available any time in November except I'll be in California on 10/29-11/1 and Portland 11/6-7, so if we meet at the ACM convention I'd be gone nine days, and if we meet the week of 11/9 I'd be on the road 12 days nonstop. I could probably do either, but neither sounds like fun. I'm also unavailable 11/17-19 and, of course 11/26 which is Thanksgiving in the U.S.

Hello,

We’ve talked briefly on a few of our most recent conference calls about our group’s next face to face meeting. I’m writing now to see what sort of attendance we might be able to get in November around two different locations and dates.

Option 1
Sometine during the week of 11/9-13 in Boston.

Option 2
Sometime during the week of 11/2-6 in California. This would be in conjunction with a larger W3C collection of meetings.

When we last discussed this, it seemed that Boston was a better option for the group overall with several of our active participants from Europe.

We can discuss this next Thursday but anything you know about possibilities before then feel free to share. We’ve made good progress on UAAG 2.0. Face to face meetings provide us a great way to do work over extended periods that are hard to replicate in our weekly meeting schedule though.
