We only received one public comment on UAAG 2.0 during the comment period: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-uaag2-comments/2008Mar/0000.html <QUOTE> It would be quite helpful to have is some type of cross reference between these options in UAAG and WCAG requirements. 3.3.1 - Background image toggle 3.6.1/ 3.6.2 - Highlighting 3.7.1 - Configure Text (scale, font family, color) Specifically, it would be good to have something explicit to say whether this rendering must not/should not be overridden by a web site/application. </QUOTE> ------- JR: I think the general approach of UAAG should be that the browser/UA user has the final say on presentation, not the author. I can see a use in noting which UAAG2 requirements could serve to meet the "a mechanism is available" requirement in WCAG 2.0 (i.e. in WCAG 2.0 1.4.2, 1.4.8, 2.2.2, 2.4.1, 2.4.9, 3.1.3, 3.1.4, 3.1.6, 3.2.3, 3.2.5, 3.3.4, and 3.3.6). Cheers, Jan
