Friday the 13th AU Telecon Notes Participating members: Kitch Barnicle Jim Allen Daniel Dardailler Scott Luebking Jon Gunderson David Poehlman Gregg Vanderheiden Wendy Chisholm Agenda Discuss WAI process for Working Drafts (I'm learning too) Discuss new format of UA guidelines Goals for CSUN Continue discussion of current guidelines Notes DD presentation on W3C Working Drafts and W3C Recomendations Usually a series of working drafts published on W3C interest group pages Usually a couple of drafts before a request to make it a recommendation SL: what is a working group DD: there are definitions for all positions on w3c pages SL: how do you reach consensus DD: loosely defined in the charter, many different models Need 2 types of Working Draft Documents 1. One document for closed issues which are ready for recommendation 2. One document for open issues which need more discussion Format of Guidelines 1. Three levels of importance of a guidelines item and they will be initiall called priority 1, priority 2 and priority 3 Will continue the discussion of labels. 2. Scenarios section to discuss implications of particular guidelines 3. Test pages for authors to test the features of there browsers Kitch Barnicle, Wendy Chisholm, Scott Luebking volunteered to start working on the scenarios Jim Allen and David Poehlman will start working on test pages We will also schedule regular phone meetings in April at 2 week intervals.
