W3C is pleased to announce the recharter of the Web Accessibility 
initiative (WAI) Interest Group.

The group is chartered through 31 July 2027.

The mission of the Web Accessibility Initiative Interest Group (WAI IG) 
is to promote awareness of W3C accessibility work and publications, 
encourage engagement in W3C accessibility work, and provide an open 
public forum for sharing information related to web accessibility.

Individuals can join the Interest Group by subscribing to the mailing 
list from:
https://www.w3.org/WAI/about/groups/waiig/#mailinglist

The group chair is Ashley Abaragu (Knowbility). The Staff Contact is 
Shawn Lawton Henry <shawn@w3.org> at 0.03 FTE.
