No. this is not a time limit issue apart from there being enough time for the information to be conveyed to users programmatically . it is a status message as normatively defined for success criterion 4.1.3 although - as I said in an earlier email - it's arguably completely superfluous especially given it is displayed outside the sight-line of even people with average visual acuity & unrestricted visual field. Adam, I would have thought that automatically disappearing toast notifications are a violation of 2.2.1 Timing Adjustable. Unless they disappear when they are no longer valid or one of the other mechanisms (turn off, adjust, extend) are implemented. Interested to hear your view on this. Mark
