Techniques just give an example of how to pass (or clearly fail, in the case of failure techniques) a particular Success Criterion. Nothing more, nothing less. On the more general question: this does not sound like a violation of 3.2.3, as that SC doesn't say "all pages must have the same navigation mechanisms", but rather "if pages do have the same navigation mechanisms, they must appear in the same order" - and since the pages in question do NOT have that same navigation mechanism, this SC simply does not apply to them. So, this nominally passes 3.2.3 in my view. P -- Patrick H.
