Thank you Shawn for the update you posted to WAI announcements. This is big news indeed. Judy has led WAI through the pioneering effort to establish digital accessibility as a human right - kudos and thanks! I know from years working with you, Michael, Roy, and Daniel when I served as EOWG Chair that the ongoing WAI work is in excellent hands. The fact that Kevin White is rejoining the team is great news indeed! Kevin's leadership in the Scottish government and his deep and extensive knowledge of policy as well as technical aspects of accessibility are second to none - what a great team! I look forward to the next phase of leadership and innovation in serving the digital access needs of people with disabilities. Congratulations to Judy in her new role and best wishes to the team as you manage the transition. Please know that you have the support of an engaged and energized global community as you continue this critically important work. All the best, Sharron. --- *Sharron Rush* | Executive Director 2023 AARP Purpose Prize Honoree *Knowbility: to create a more inclusive digital world for people with disabilities.* On Wed, Oct 19, 2022 at 7:25 AM Shawn Henry <shawn@w3.org> wrote: > Dear WAI community, > > Several changes are in progress at the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative > (WAI), each exciting in different ways. > > W3C and WAI staff are supporting our accessibility work on the current > path during this transition. > > *WAI Staff and Roles*: > > Judy Brewer will be leaving WAI for a new opportunity.
