Hi Steve, Well, I see this a bit different. Currently the feed ARIA example is still in progress to be finalized and therefore we should mention this. However, in the provided example the different feed sections are articles and thus can be reached via "o" when running JAS. I have not tried it with NVDA since I am not so familiar with NVDA shortcuts. In general I am totally with you - one should be able to use components in a relatively "normal" manner whatever that might be. We are currently consulting the ARIA 1.1. best practice examples quite a lot in order to define navigation patterns for components that do not fit one of the examples and try to make them behave in an expected manner for screen reader users and keyboard only users.
