Hi, As a quick update, I've updated the AccName Prototype to support the aria-placeholder and placeholder attributes as this mapping is presently documented within the HTML AAM, and will work on adding this to AccName 1.2 in the near future. Also added, is support for table and figure when the caption role is included in compliance with the coding criteria documented within the HTML AAM, where both HTML caption and figcaption elements map to role="caption". Please test this at https://whatsock.github.io/w3c-alternative-text-computation/Editable%20Live%20Input%20AccName%20Test.html If any of this logic doesn't match expected behaviors, please file an issue at https://github.com/WhatSock/w3c-alternative-text-computation I won't be available to work on this further until after October 6, but will pick this up afterwards.
