RE: Directions in form headings [SEC=UNCLASSIFIED]

Hi Angela,

Questions like 'I want to buy a' in the example are not complete questions. They needs 2 HTML elements - Heading, Legend to make it complete.
In this situation, my recommendation is to rephrase the question as 'Select a camera you would like to buy'.

Reasons for this is

1.       People using magnification to 300 to 400% will get only one part of the question and they will need to understand the completeness through the options or associated heading.

2.       People using screen readers have Hot key 'F' to jump through form elements. If the question is complete, it's easier to understand.

Even though WCAG 2.4.6 Headings and Labels<https://www.w3.org/TR/UNDERSTANDING-WCAG20/navigation-mechanisms-descriptive.html> mentions 2 techniques, I think changing the label more descriptive is the best fit for this scenario. Hope this helps!

Is it ok to include directions in form headings if a page does not have multiple sections?  According to https://www.w3.org/WAI/WCAG21/Techniques/general/G141.html it's best to keep them generic but the example they show has multiple sections.
