> My understanding of SC 1.4.3 (Contrast) is that disabled form fields should also be subject to minimum contrast levels, since these fields may provide pertinent information to the user. From memory, disabled (inactive) controls are not required to meet the contrast for text (1.4.3) or non-text (1.4.11) because: * Making those controls ‘faded’ is such a common method, and * We couldn’t get consensus that there is a reasonable alternative method across all scenarios. There’s a section in the understanding doc for non-text contrast on this: https://www.w3.org/WAI/WCAG21/Understanding/non-text-contrast.html#inactive-controls Cheers, -Alastair
