Hi, as far as I understand implementations of the text alternative algorithm do not yet yield consistent results. I now started two project that may help to improve this situation: accname-test (https://github.com/xi/accname-test/) is a collection of test cases. babelacc (https://xi.github.io/babelacc/) is a web service where you can enter HTML snippets and compare the output of some existing JavaScript implementations. This could be useful to find interesting test cases. I would be happy to get feedback on this, especially from people who are involved with the spec or an implementation. thanks tobias
