ADA Accommodations Consultant Needed

Elsevier, a world-leading provider of scientific products and services, is seeking a qualified consultant to review ADA disability accommodation requests in support of Elsevier's global assessment business.



Candidates should have over 5 years' experience in reviewing and handling accommodation requests in an educational environment and have an comprehensive understanding of the spectrum of different disability types.

In addition consultants should understand how functional limitations of people with disabilities associate with barriers to exam taking under standard conditions.



Examples of relevant consultant experience and qualifications would include:

*        Disability Services Specialist

*        Assistive Technology Coordinator

*        Assessment Specialist/Psychometrician

*        Licensed Professional Counselor

*        Special Education Teacher
