Hey WAI-IG community: Want to enrich your skills, give back to the community, and build your portfolio? Then why not compete in AIR-Interactive! AIR, or the Accessibility Internet Rally, is a web development competition designed to raise awareness about the need to make the web accessible for ALL people. Teams of participating web developers engage and build an accessible website for an artist, musician, or non-profit organization from their community. Since AIR Interactive is a virtual collaboration, teams can participate from anywhere in the world. The whole competition takes place during one month - January 15-February 15, 2012. Winners will be announced at an official South by Southwest Interactive Festival party in March 2012! Training and resources are available to bolster your skills, improve your odds, and enable you to design better websites for all your clients.
