Hi all, Before sending messages to the WAI Interest Group list, please think about how the message will come across to the hundreds of people on the list. For example, * Treat people with respect. * Make sure the message is appropriate for the list and addresses issues of web accessibility. * Use a Subject line that describes the topic well. If you change topics, change the Subject. This is usually handled as follows: New Topic XYZ [was: Old Topic] * Explain the issue clearly. Provide sufficient background information. * When your comments are not useful for the entire list, reply off-list -- that is, reply directly to the sender and do not send the message to the list. ... more at http://www.w3.org/WAI/IG/#mailinglist If you have questions about whether or not a message is appropriate for the WAI IG list, feel free to contact me *before* you send it.
