HTML 5 development has been driven by vendors (through WHATWG), and as one
of those I am glad that W3C has taken it up. I think we have yet to see
the W3C working group really getting a handle on this process, and dealing
with issues properly, but I expect that of W3C (as in, I believ it will
happen, and as in I am disappointed that so far they have not done much of
a job of it).
