Well, it seems to be a reasonably functional way of making some image spin, but it needs javascript and doesn't have keyboard control (which is a shame - it could). Not as nice as the way SVG can do this, with dynamic text alternatives and some ability to use declarative markup for it. As soon as everyone actually has SVG... (oh wait.
