It won't surprise you to know that I've found this code in my own work :-) sometimes abbr and acronym just wont work, or one is confused... whatever, title doesn't raise a tooltip in IE so alt gets the job done. however, perhaps not google for next, that does seem somewhat way out. Jonathan
