Re: Spacing

My bug report is incomplete. any one character alt will not work with
jaws for windows.

Would alt+"*" work? I understand most screen readers will nto read
punctuation.

Sincerely,

as I understand it, the former may not be supported everywhere and due
to what I consider to be a bug in jaws, using alt="" or alt=" " to hide
them from images off results in:
"spacer.gif
or blank.gif"
being spoken. again, this is what I consider to be a bug in jaws and
the work around causes too much sacrifice due to the fact that setting
graphics rendering to labeled graphics only and by the way, these are
labeled graphics if they use the tags above as far as I am concerned
will cause one to miss important items that are not labeled.

Hi,
Can anyone tell me which is most accessible technique to
use for spacing -- or a spacer (blank) gif ?
