Dear Legislative Pundits, Not long ago, wasn't there an initiative to get 300 bps baudot code (TTY/TDD) compatibility adopted by the modem manufactures? I thought that this was going to be part of the v.90 standard and would be mandated by the Telecommunications Act and the FCC. Can anybody bring me up to speed on this issue? FYI current models of TTY modem (just two manufacturers as far as I know) cost upwards of $200 and go no higher than 1200 baud. Bruce Bailey, DORS Webmaster http://www.dors.state.md.us/
