Correction posted [was: Wired story about 508 Compliance]

Please note that an updated article with corrections on a number of points
is now available on the Wired site, at
http://www.wired.com/news/news/politics/story/19556.html

Also, if you had not noted the previously corrected ZDNet article, it is
available at http://www.zdnet.com/zdnn/stories/news/0,4586,2243282,00.html

I appreciate the vigilance of members of this list in noting inaccuracies
in some recent coverage, so that they may be followed up, potentially
reducing a cycle of confusion. In some cases reporters or editors, to their
credit, have taken considerable time to re-research the articles and
present the issue fairly.

There has also been some clear coverage on Web accessibility issues in the
past week in other publications, which we hope will continue.

Regards,

Judy
