I have studied the issues of icons a bit. They can be extremely helpful, but, easily taken out of context. Then, you have the problem of translating them into something non-visual that makes sense. I was just perusing through my local library's catalog. I did not find the book you referenced. So, I searched by Author and found this one. Have you any experience with this book?
