[Equity] Minutes of meeting of 15 August 2022

== Summary ==

 1. We reviewed policies for scribing and queuing, since the group has
    grown larger than a casual meeting can handle effectively.
 2. Our group is a microcosm of the Equity issue, as we have conflicting
    accessibility needs in the group.  We have created a Google doc that
    will hopefully improve accessibility for one group and discussed
    ways to keep the two documents in sync.
 3. We reviewed the homework assignment on the concepts that the
    definition should capture and the various definitions proposed by
    members of the group. We discussed differences in the description of
    Equity depending on whether we are looking at Equity as an outcome,
    a state, or a process.  We started discussing different solutions. 
    We briefly reviewed the survey questions for the presentation to AG
    next week.

Homework for Equity subgroup members for the next meeting:

 1. Start adding thoughts to the Recommendation section.
 2. Review and comment on the Definition Description work to move
    bullets under Equity as an Outcome, Equity as a State, or Equity as
    a Process.  Please use the Google doc if you are commenting before
    Wednesday to help keep it synchronized.
