Re: WCAG 2.2 progress

Hi everyone,

Another update on the WCAG 2.2 progress.

Firstly, we have a final set of 4 draft SCs up for review for next week’s call:

If there is anything that is likely to mean it cannot meet the SC requirements, now is the best time to say so.

There are 6 new SCs that have had review and iteration, 4 that are in progress, and several more minor updates / misc.

NB: The “Description for icons” SC doesn’t have anyone to work on it, so is likely to be left until next time.

Several SCs could do with some support, i.e. more people working with the SC lead, which are:

  *   No memorization
  *   Undo errors
  *   Dragging
  *   Affordances

Please let me know if you can help with any of those.

The plan from this point is:

  *   Note any substantial issues with SCs prior to TPAC.
  *   Review the SCs at TPAC, and establish workflow for understanding, techniques etc.
  *   Sept-Dec, work on supporting documents.
  *   Jan-Mar, review & update supporting documents.
